Greg Slaight - Director of Meetings and Incentives
As a Director of Meetings and Events for GlobauxSource Greg manages all facets of events . . . from meeting logistics to AV Production to Transportation to Food and Beverage, as well as everything in between.
Greg Slaight has managed meetings for technology, industrial and consumer products companies ranging from 50 to 1,000 attendees. Greg is proficient at planning business meetings and incentive trips, both in the United States as well in international destinations. Attendees for the meetings he has managed have traveled from the U.S. and all across the globe.
Greg began in the meeting and event industry since 1988. He started his career with American Airlines and Sabre, holding various management positions. As the Senior Meeting planner, Greg was responsible for Sabre’s Subscriber Conferences and Employee Meetings. Then Greg moved to Sprint as a Senior Program Manager. During his time at Sprint he managed large internal and customer events, leadership conferences, sales kickoff meetings and incentive trips. Greg also managed Sprint hospitality events for Fortune 500 customers including the 1996 Summer Olympics and 2002 Winter Olympics as well as the 2003 and 2005 NFL Super Bowls. Following Sprint, Greg was named Director of Meetings and Events for Spear One where he directed a team of event managers and specialists who managed meetings for Fortune 500 companies.
Greg joined WorldWide Incentives in 2010 as Director, Client Services and directed the operations side of the business and was responsible for program implementation, on-site logistics, vendor liaison, budgeting and program reconciliation.
Greg graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a BA in Broadcast Journalism.
