Dave Murphy

Professional Bio

Prior to joining the GlobauxSource team, Dave Murphy, Regional Vice President, had more than thirty-five years of Destination Management Company (DMC) experience.  His start in the hospitality industry came from a corporate meeting looking for help with organizing content and logistics. Dave moved on to offering services for inbound travel programs as a ground operator in Whistler, Canada before his passion for this market segment led him to Cantrav, DMC.  He was an integral part of Cantrav for over three decades, attaining the post of Regional Director, until his departure in 2019. 

Dave understand what it takes to create destination programs that inspire loyalty and generate lasting memories through shared experience.  His background working in the DMC arena has given him strong and valued relationships with clients as well as extensive contacts in the industry supplier chain, essential to the delivery of high-level service programs that attendees expect.

Together with his wife, Dave has also owned and operated a retail business which has given him an added appreciation and understanding of customer service.

Away from work, he enjoys spending time with his wife, walking their dogs, or as some of his friends look at it, the dogs enjoy taking Dave out to play!
