Professional Bio

As with many that find their ultimate career in an unorthodox fashion, Wayne didn’t set out on the path that he ended up on, but he’s glad that he did.

Currently Director of Global Development for GlobauxSource Wayne’s history includes a degree in Marketing from the University of Oklahoma, where he attended on a track scholarship, culminating in his participation in the 1980 US Olympic Marathon Trials as part of an exclusive group of 176 runners. Things didn’t go as planned on race day but the focus and personal effort to get that far remained part of his ethos as he worked towards other goals.

A 45+ year marketing career that included supporting the C-Suite of a Fortune 500 company and ultimately forming WorldWide Incentives, selling the company to Patti Palacios in late 2018.

His 30+ year industry history includes 16 years as a member of MPI, 19 years as a member of SITE, (a total of 11 years on the SITE Texas board of directors) including a year as chapter president and has received his CIS and CITP certifications.

In 2014 he was awarded the SITE Texas Circle of Honor & Lifetime Achievement Award and in 2018 recognized by SPIN as one of the Top 40 Over 40 meeting planners.
