Professional Bio
Geraldine start in the meetings and events industry came in 1992, when she accepted a planning position with an international incentive travel company, that morphed into a lifelong love of the industry. Writing was always foremost as Geraldine planned, developed, and organized global trips and created their marketing programs; from 2010-2021, she was privileged to be the Western Regional Marketing Consultant for IMEX America with blogs becoming part of her responsibilities in 2020.
Since 2021, her past experience and background has led her to focus on writing solely related to meetings and events. With her profound knowledge of the industry, she intuitively understands the language needed to convey the right meaning. Geraldine is honored to be part of the GlobauxSource team, providing a wide range of high level of communication services.
A member of SITE SoCal for fifteen years, Geraldine served eleven of them as a member of the Board of Directors, including one as Chapter President in 2015. That year SITE SoCal won SITE’s Chapter of the Year and she personally received SITE’s Kevin Forde Spirit Award and MPI Southern California Chapter’s Planner of the Year. Geraldine also earned SITE’s CIS and CITP designations.
