Professional Bio

Patti Palacios is an acknowledged leader in the industry, and an expert in the field of Strategic Meetings Management. An accomplished professional with the ability to create and maintain long-lasting relationships and partnerships with both clients and hotel partners. Patti is also highly sought after as a speaker at meetings and industry functions. Of the last thirty-four years in the hospitality industry, Patti spent eighteen of those as a senior executive with HelmsBriscoe. She was recognized as the top producer with the Rainmaker Award and was the first Hall of Fame inductee. Prior to HelmsBriscoe, Patti worked with major hotel chains and this combined extensive experience gave her a broad and diverse view of the industry. This background was helpful when, in 2011, Patti founded GlobauxSource with the goal of providing a unique and personalized approach to meetings resource management. She saw a need to have a qualified professional act on the clients’ behalf, understand what they were looking for and focus on their objectives in the meeting process. As a turnkey event solution, GlobauxSource is focused on being the ultimate advocate and partner. 

That makes sense when you consider Patti’s skill sets and her desire to support clients and suppliers while adding value and passion to the entire process. Patti is an active member of PCMA and SITE. She is a past member of the New Orleans Advisory Board, and the Fort Worth Advisory Council. Additionally, through her company ownership, GlobauxSource is a certified WBENC (Women’s Business Enterprise), the most widely recognized and respected national certification for women-owned businesses in the US. As a community of partners, GlobauxSource believes that making a positive difference is essential to success. 

Through relationships and service coupled with personal and corporate involvement, GlobauxSource is focused on people and paying it forward. Patti also regularly sponsors and participates in major cause-related community events. It is no easy task to manage a company dedicated to providing high levels of expertise and service. It is doubly hard when an unanticipated pandemic roils the industry, decimating many companies and losing significant numbers of professionals in the process. GlobauxSource came through this difficult time, largely due to the tenacity, leadership skills and dedication of Patti Palacios and her team. GlobauxSource is on course to continue its growth and expansion into the future!
